Making money with online courses

Create an online course-then-SELL IT

Can’t keep up with the educational companies that are gobbling up other companies? Tired of applying for teaching positions that have over one thousand applicants? Let not your heart be troubled. There is another way.
Develop an online course and sell it as a continuing education course at a school districts web site. There are many school districts that offer continuing education courses that have been developed by other individuals or companies. You can charge a reasonable fee and offer it at a specific time or have continuous enrollment. The course has to fall within the districts guide lines. The school district will add your course to their sight after you receive approval.
Most states have the district web sites listed with information on how to submit a course. Large online educational companies have taken the initiative to produce courses online. The subject matter is very diverse on these web sites. Colleges and k-12 schools don’t want to pay instructors to create these courses. They provide a catalogue of courses for teachers that are looking to receive certification and PLU’s. The link located below will list the requirements for the Georgia Department of Education.
